Bloomingdale’s + Canali
Trunk Show and Dinner

On Thursday, October 16, 2014, select subscribers of The Wall Street Journal and clients of Bloomingdale’s gathered for a bespoke trunk show and dinner in New York City. Guests were treated to beer, wine and canapés from Sonnier & Castle while exploring the latest men’s collection at Bloomingdale’s Canali showroom.

Guests then headed to the private dining area at The National inside The Benjamin Hotel and were greeted with the evening’s specialty cocktail, the Midtown Manhattan. The tables were adorned with custom menus and fall-inspired floral arrangements from Jerry Rose Floral & Event Design. Josh Peskowitz, Men’s Fashion Director at Bloomingdale’s, welcomed everyone with a toast before the three-course meal from award-winning Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian.

Both the showroom and the dining space featured a blow up of WSJ’s 2014 Off Duty editorial coverage of Canali, as well as copies of WSJ. Magazine’s Men’s Fashion and Travel issues. Guests departed with WSJ-branded business card cases and mobile device chargers.
