Franklin Templeton Investments Reception

On Tuesday, February 25, 2014, The Wall Street Journal and Franklin Templeton Investments hosted 25 guests at Le Bernardin in New York City for a cocktail reception, seated dinner and presentation from Tyler Cowen, libertarian economist and author of “Average is Over”. Partners from Morgan Stanley, UBS and Wells Fargo were among those in attendance.

Johanna Mayer-Jones, The Wall Street Journal’s Director of Integrated Marketing Solutions, welcomed guests and thanked FTI for its partnership before introducing Roger Michaud, Senior Vice President and Divisional Sales Manager of Franklin Templeton Investments. As dessert was served, Cowen presented findings on the future of global markets over the next 10+ years, markets shifting production back to North America and why he believes technology is the world’s single asset.

Each guest departed with a gift bag containing the latest issues of WSJ. Magazine and WSJ.Money, an autographed copy of “Average is Over,” a WSJ-branded notebook, Franklin Templeton-branded pen and a WSJ.noted card.
