PNC Luncheon

On Wednesday, September 18, 2013, The Wall Street Journal and PNC’s Corporate Banking group hosted 80 guests at the beautiful St. Regis in Atlanta for a luncheon and presentation from David Wessel, Economics Editor and Columnist for The Wall Street Journal and author of “Red Ink”.

Eddie Meyers, Regional President of PNC Atlanta, welcomed the group and thanked WSJ for its partnership. Wall Street Journal Advertising Sales Director Don Seay, delivered a witty introduction of David Wessel, entertaining the audience and setting the tone for an engaging event. Wessel touched upon the decline of the household income compared to that of 20 years ago, fiscal policy today and his predictions on the state of the U.S. government and the unemployment rate over the next few years.

Following a lively Q&A, several guests stayed to speak with Wessel before departing with gifts bags that included the latest issues of WSJ. Magazine and WSJ.Money, PNC collateral, and a signed copy of “Red Ink”.
